Sadie Elizabeth Resmondo

Sadie Elizabeth (Bibba) Gilley Resmondo 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday May 22nd 2020.Many would know her as Elizabeth or Bibba, but many more knew her as Granny.Elizabeth was the eldest daughter of the late Tom and Sadie (Beal) Gilley, born February 25th 1928 in Pensacola Florida.She married the love of her life Kenneth Eugene Resmondo Sr on August 4th 1945.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, son Kenneth Eugene Resmondo Jr, son in law DuWayne (Dewey) Hoffert, Sr., grandsons Tommy Brockett and Chris McKee, sisters Tommie Quinn, Loree Carter and Eldona Tiner.Left to cherish her memory are her children Diane Hoffert, Patricia Lambert, John and Dawn Resmondo, Brian Resmondo, Cameron Resmondo, Melissa Resmondo, Jimmy Harris and Momi Anakalea.Grandchildren: Kenny and Sylenia Daw, Kevin and Lisa Daw, Michelle McKee, Cory and April Brockett, Sadie Resmondo and Jacqueline Harris and Mallie Roden. Great grandchildren: CJ, Scott, Tommy and Jack McKee, Harleigh and Jude Brockett, Kyle, Jessica, Zach and Braydon Daw, Brittany and Skylar Davis, Emily and Joseph Robbins, Tony and Ashley Brockett.Great great grandchildren Maylin and Chrissy Robbins. Sisters Lucille Beck, Nancy and Harold Slay and Sandra and Jim Beal.Numerous Nieces and Nephews and all those that she considered hers.Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons:Kenny Daw, Kevin Daw, Cory Brockett, CJ McKee, Scott McKee, Tommy McKee, Jack McKee.The family would like to thank Springhill Hospice. Especially to Caseworker Kay Butler and to Nurses Tina, Tracy & Carol. Aides Lateria & Carlene.Our biggest thank you goes to Dr John McAtee for all the years Mom was under your care. Your compassion, concern and care meant so much to her and to the rest of the family. We could not have asked for a better Doctor to care for her. We greatly appreciate all that you did in caring for our Mother. Due to the Alabama Department of Public Health and State of Alabama Guidelines please follow the mandatory social distancing rules that are in place because of the Covid 19 Pandemic. ALL PERSONS attending must maintain a minimum six foot distance from each other unless you are living in the same household. Be safe , We care about you!
