Barbara Jo “Bobbi” Convery February 11, 1950 – July 6, 2026 Barbara Jo “Bobbi” Convery, 76, left this world in Foley, Alabama, and met Jesus at the gates of her Heavenly Home on Monday, July 6, 2026. Bobbi will live there forever with her family, friends and her little Dachshund puppy, Lilli. Bobbi was born on February 11, 1950 to Elzo and Rebekah (Rowley) Porter in Walla Walla, Washington. Bobbi was the second child of that marriage along with her two brothers, Bruce and Marion. Her father later married Diane Harris and two sisters, Jeananne and Jenny, were born Bobbi met her husband, Daniel Convery, at a McDonald’s Restaurant in Omaha, NE, on March 19 1967. They were married in Omaha, NE on November 23, 1968. Their sons, Eric and Chris, were later, born in Omaha, NE. With her husband, and later with her sons, Bobbi lived in various cities in the country including San Diego, CA; Norfolk, VA; Portsmouth, RI; Omaha, NE; Fresno, CA; Modesto, CA; Spanish Fork, UT; and most recently, her home in Foley, AL. Bobbi deeply loved her husband, children, extended family, personal friends, and everyone that she came in contact with. She did not have a mean bone in her body. Bobbi was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many positions. She was involved in her religion for her entire life. Bobbi’s main career was as a Para-legal. She worked in that capacity at various law firms in Fresno and Modesto, CA, Provo and Spanish Fork, UT, and most recently in Gulf Shores, AL. Prior to that, she worked in retail and in child care, even owning her own home daycare facility. Bobbi was predeceased by her father, mother, stepmother, brother Bruce, grandparents, a niece and 3 nephews. Surviving, besides her husband Daniel; sons, Eric Convery, Spanish Fork, UT and Christopher (Erica) Convery, Snohomish, WA; granddaughter Isabelle Convery, Snohomish, WA; brother, Marion (Karen) Porter, Boise, ID; sisters Jeananne Lybbert, Spanish Fork, UT and Jenny (Kevin) Hoskins, Lindon, UT; half-sister, Pam (Miley) Jensen, Hurricane, UT; sisters-in-law, Ruth Porter, Salt Lake City, UT, Kathleen Bogan, Indianapolis, IN, and Mae Convery, Crest Hills, IL; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and her little Dachshund puppy, Mollie. Bobbi will be cremated and her ashes will be given to her husband. A Celebration of Bobbi’s Life (casual dress) will be held on July 29, 2026, at 2PM at the Robertsdale Fire Dept. Community Room, 22575 St. Paul St, Robertsdale, AL. Bobbi will eventually be buried in the Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, NE. Arrangements are entrusted to Cason Funeral Service in Foley Al
