In loving memory of Anna Pauline Saunders February 10, 1952 - September 4, 2024 Anna (Polly) was born on February 10, 1952 to Harry and Mary Harper - Mund, in Mobile, AL. She was a longtime member of Fisherman Baptist Church in Bon Secour, AL. Polly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2024, with her husband of 55 years and many family members by her side. Polly graduated high school from Woodham High School in Pensacola, FL. While in high school, she also attended George Stone Technical College for nursing in Pensacola, FL. and Pensacola Bible Institute in Pensacola, FL. After moving to Alabama, she attended Faulkner State Community College in Fairhope, AL. Polly, while in high school, worked for Pensacola Bible Institute, typing up books for Peter Ruckman. And Melody’s Bakery in Pensacola, FL. After she was done with school, she worked in the ICU at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO. then moved to the ICU at South Baldwin Hospital in Foley, AL. Once the family moved to Louisiana, she filled in as a secretary for Gulf Oil Company of Louisiana while their full-time secretary was on maternity leave. She then worked for Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. as a secretary for the surgeons in the orthopedic department. While at Tulane, she also worked for the Tulane bone transplant team. After returning to Alabama, she started teaching high school at Open Door Christian School until she retired. And I don’t think she ever met anyone that wasn’t asked if they knew our Savior, Jesus Christ. Polly was proceeded in death by father, Harry Edward Mund. Mother, Mary Drusilla Harper - Mund. Son, Kenneth Jason Saunders and niece, Andrea Denise Cooper. Polly was survived by her husband, Kevin Lee Saunders, sons, Kevin (Elizabeth) Saunders Jr., and Harry (Angie) Saunders. Grandchildren: Sebastian, Eathan, Aidan, Joshua and Jordan Saunders, Kaylen (Brian) Hansen, and Austin Metz. Great Grandchildren: Harley and Jesse Hansen. Sisters, Mary Franks and Barbara Heathcock. Along with many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Cason Funeral Service in Foley Al
