Ricky Lee Burrell, 53 passed away at his home on March 16, 2022 in Foley, Alabama. He was born to James and Linda Burrell on October 22, 1968 in San Diego, California. He attended Edison Elementary, Timpanogos Elementary, Dixon Middle School and Provo High School. He graduated in 1986. After high school he joined the United States Air Force and served for 2 years. After the Air Force, he attended vocational school for Heating and Air Conditioning. He have various careers that related dealing directly with the public. He was great with people. He always had a radiant glow about him. His mother always told him he was her “Sunshine”. He also had a very special gift of communication with children. He was the best Santa Clause with a real beard. He was in sales and most recently worked as a bus driver for Utah Transit Authority before moving to Foley, Alabama. He always wanted to move back to that area of the country because he loved going to the beach so much. He married Toni Jakeman in 2004 and was later divorced. He married Sheri Lyons Moore in 2011. They were later divorced. He was a proud step dad and the grand-kids knew him as Papa Rick. Rick is survived by his parents James and Linda Burrell. Sister Tana (Dennis) Felsman, Brothers Randy (Melissa) Burrell, David Burrell, Step children Austin (Natasha) Moore, Tiffany Moore, Cameron Moore, Linze (Thomas) Kimball, and many grandchildren. There will be a memorial service for Rick on March 31, 2022 at 11:00 A.M at the Pioneer 1st Ward Church at 376 North 700 West, Provo, Utah Rick's family will be available for condolences one hour prior to the Memorial service.
