In loving memory of Marion James “Bud” Bostick Jr. of Mobile, Alabama. He was 73 years old and passed on June 16, 2021, peacefully at home. He resided in Silverhill, AL with his wife Elaine Bostick of 41 years. Preceded by his parents Marion J. Bostick Sr. and Bessie Mae Bostick. Siblings: Ann Paul dec., Robert Bostick dec., Myrtle and (Bobby dec) Henderson, Charles “Chuck” and (Patrice) Bostick, Anita and (Larry) Smith, Billy dec. and (Gloria) Bostick, Bryan and (Ronnette) Bostick, and Bob Henry Bostick. Children: Anita and (John) Wigal, Lynn and (Ellen) Turner, Will Bostick and (Mandy Poole), Evette Duncan, Shery Koster and Michael Pettus. He has 16 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Also, many other family members and friends. Bud worked most of his life in construction with his brother Bryan Bostick. He loved the Lord and was a man of faith. He was passionate about sharing the word and serving others. He was a pastor and co-founder of Solid Rock Church of Bainbridge, Georgia and recently worshiped at Christian Faith Assembly of Silverhill, AL. Services will be held at Christian Faith Assembly, 16169 Silverhill Avenue (Hwy 104), Silverhill, AL 36576, on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org.
