February 27, 2022
Obituary of Jacqueline Ann Teem Mills Jacqueline Ann Teem Mills, of Foley, was known as “Ann” to most people. When her first grandchild, Christopher, was a little boy, he called her “My Annie,” and so she became Annie to her family. She was born on Teem Mountain in Cullman, Alabama, on December 11, 1939 and passed away February 27, 2022. She was a beloved mother and grandmother with a big, bright smile and an even bigger heart, and was married to Thomas Lee Mills for 62 years until he passed away February 25, 2019. She was by his side and made a home for him and their three daughters wherever life’s adventures led them, including Alabama, Kentucky, Mexico, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. Her favorite was Cheyenne, Wyoming with its beautiful snow-topped mountains and wide open spaces. She is survived by her daughters, Jacque and Courtney; her granddaughters, Maggie, Victoria, Savannah and Abby Grace; her grandsons, Christopher and Adam; her brother, David and his wife, Ginger; her nieces, Lesley and Allison; and her horse, Annie’s Chey Baby. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Herman and Noleeka Teem, and by her daughter, Ashley, who passed away January 12, 2020. Annie was proud of her family and loved us with all of her heart. She was always there for us when we needed her. She wanted us to be happy and supported our dreams. She enjoyed being out on the water, going to the beach, traveling, hunting, playing the piano, reading and spending time with family and friends. Her fried pork chops and gravy were the best ever. She loved babies, puppies and horses, yellow roses and wine, and homemade desserts from our family recipes. She was strong-willed, sweet-natured, and loved by everyone who knew her. There was nothing we wouldn’t do for our Annie. Annie had a wonderful impact on all of us. She will forever be loved and cherished by all who were blessed to have her in their lives. Her sweet spirit will be with us always.
