Glenn Duane Neese, age 73 of Orange Beach, Alabama, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Vera Neese, and a brother Willie James Neese. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lottie Mathews Neese. His children, Michael Burkett and his wife Robin, Michelle Otis, Glenn D. Neese II, and his wife Jenny and Miranda Conner. His grandchildren, Trent Burkett, Brandon Burkett, Lauren Hughes, Jay Hughes, Emily Otis, Ashleigh Otis and Gavin Conner. Four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, George and Florence Neese. Duane was born on December 12, 1948 in Montgomery, Alabama to Glenn and Vera Neese. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and upon graduation he entered the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Lottie Mathews on March 2, 1970. He was employed as an instructor and maintenance worker by John Patterson Technical College, later known as Trenholm Technical College, for 32 years. Upon his retirement he became a resident of Orange Beach, Alabama. Duane was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 11:00 at the Grace Pointe Church of Christ, 1565 Ray Thorington Road, Montgomery, Alabama, 36117.
