Cora Faye "Mema" Morgan

Cora Faye Morgan (Mema) made her final journey into the arms of Jesus on Friday morning, May 20, 2022. She was at home with family by her side. Born in Texarkana, TX in 1925, she moved with her family to Charleston, SC where she later met and married John Butler Morgan. As assistant manager of Food Operations at Charleston Air Force Base, she was promoted and transferred to Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile, AL where she lived for 35 years. Before retiring to Foley, AL to be near family, she worked for Dumas Wesley in Mobile. Faye was passionate about her family and enjoyed traveling, bowling, sewing and supporting anything her children and grandchildren were involved in. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her sister Mary Jo Steinmeyer and is survived by two brothers Howard and Jerry Mason; daughters Faye Schuettner (husband Richard), daughter Marie Boone (husband Bill); nephew Eddie Steinmeyer; grandchildren Missie Green, Rick Schuettner and Morgan Zuehlke; as well as great and great-great grandchildren Courtney, Whitney, Lexie, Jordan, Eli, Boone, Bowen and Cohen.
