REDA DELAINE 1/24/45 – 4/7/23 GLORY – I am with you always….Matthew 28:20 It is with heartfelt sadness that we…..Carolyn, Sandra, Andrea and Donna wish to share the passing of our beloved mother, Reda Delaine. She has passed through those pearly gates to be with our Lord and Savior. Our mother was a native of Mobile, AL. She had a beautiful life of seventy-eight years that she graced us with. Our mother was a superb southern cook. She loved watching game shows, music, dancing, jewelry, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her family. She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. ROLL TIDE!!! She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved raising that one eyebrow and giving us that little frown of hers every now and then. She loved her Coors Light in a BOTTLE! She had a special love of holidays and getting together with all her family at the same time. She was like a little child at Christmas. She loved giving and she definitely loved receiving her own gifts. She was not good at keeping secrets! She always loved her pets. Her pride and joy was her doggy (Mia) who was right by her side the last 7 years. Reda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Scott (17 years), with whom she had her four daughters, her beloved second husband, Danny Cayton (30 years). After Danny’s death, Reda reunited with her first true love, our dad, Don Scott. Having so many health issues and surgeries of her own for the past 20+ years she was a trooper. She was able to be there for both Danny and Don in their final days. She was a survivor! Reda leaves behind, her four beloved daughters, Carolyn Scott (Lon), Sandra Koblas (Scott), Andrea LaRossa (Greg), and Donna Cassidy (Fred), seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many other family members and friends. Our mother will forever hold the most special place in our hearts each and every day as we move forward in our lives without her. We all know you will be standing right there at those pearly gates with open arms, hugs and kisses for each and every one of us when we arrive in Heaven. Keep the party going up there!!! OUR FINAL WORDS MOM……...UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, ROLL TIDE, BE CAREFUL ON THEM ROADS, LOVE YOU AND SEE YA!!! Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
