Kenneth McChyne Bishop August 17, 1956 – July 18, 2025 It is with heavy hearts we announce Kenneth McChyne Bishop joined his mother and father with the lord Friday the 18th of July at the age of 68. He passed peacefully surrounded by family. He always greeted everyone with that HUGE smile of his and great big hug when he saw them. He was the life of the party and really enjoyed dancing. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. As a man of many talents, he worked on the shrimp boats in his younger years while still helping his father work the land. Although he was best known for his carpentry work around Baldwin County and leant a hand to whoever asked. Two of his favorite passions over the past few years were dancing with Linda and watching the Tide Roll in T-town. Kenny was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his sister Darlene (Ricky) Rockwell, daughter Stacy (Scott) Appleton, son Kenneth (Ginger) Bishop II, granddaughter Brittany (Andrew) Walker, grandsons Jacob and Hunter, and Great grandson Jamison. A celebration of life will be held on August 16, 2025, from 5pm until the dancing stops at the home of Darlene Rockwell. The family encourages all who knew and loved Kenny to attend and celebrate a life well-lived. “As I sit in Heaven and watch you every day, I try to let you know with signs that I never went away. I hear you when you are laughing and watch you as you sleep. I even place my arms around you to calm you as you weep. I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home, so I try to send you signs you are not alone. Don’t feel guilty that you have life that was denied to me, Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
