Angela Sellars

Angela Jill Sellars, a lifelong resident of Rosinton, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Known to those closest to her as Jill, she was a beautiful soul, inside and out. Her smile could light up a room, and her contagious laughter had a way of drawing people in. She carried a warmth that made people feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. Above all else, Jill loved her family. She cherished the people closest to her and gave generously of herself to them. She loved making people feel pretty and had a natural eye for beauty, decorating, and creating things that felt special. She noticed the little details others might overlook and had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. Jill is survived by her beloved son, Jacob Zane Gilpatrick, and his wife, Anna Gilpatrick; her grandchildren, Lorena Gonzalez and Lorenzo Gonzalez; her mother, Laura Starr; her fathers, Jimmy Sellars and Michael White; her sisters, Corie Sellars, Chelsea Cooper, Ansley Cooper, Haley Stewart, and Savannah Ramsey; and her brother, Joshua White. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bobby and Dorles Starr, Eugene and Mary Wehling, and Claudis White. Though Jill’s life was far too short, what she gave to the people around her will remain. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her unmistakable laugh, her generous heart, and the countless ways she made life a little brighter for the people she loved. Her family will carry her memory forward in the stories they tell, the laughter they share, and the moments they turn into memories. The love Jill gave became part of the people who received it, and in that way, a part of her will always remain. She was a light in this world, and that light will continue to shine through everyone who loved her. Service arrangements set for Sunday 8/30/2026 at Silverhill Community Center from 1PM-4PM. We ask that if anyone would like to send flowers to contact Chelsea Cooper, Ansley Cooper or Angela Farmer directly.
